At Vivid Artistry, your safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. This Safety Policy outlines the standards and practices I follow to maintain a clean, professional, and secure salon environment for every guest.

1. Health & Hygiene Standards

  • All tools, implements, and surfaces are thoroughly sanitized and disinfected between each client using professional-grade, state-approved disinfectants.

  • Linens, towels, and capes are fresh for every appointment and laundered after each use.

  • Hand washing and sanitizing are required before and after every service.

  • Products are stored and handled according to manufacturer safety guidelines to ensure quality and cleanliness.

2. Client Health & Wellness

  • Clients who are feeling unwell, have a fever, cold, or contagious illness, or have been recently exposed to illness are kindly asked to reschedule their appointments.

  • Please inform me of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that could affect your service or product use.

  • If irritation or an allergic reaction occurs during a service, it will be stopped immediately and appropriate care will be taken.

3. One-on-One Private Environment

  • Vivid Artistry operates as a private, by-appointment-only studio, allowing for a calm, safe, and personalized salon experience.

4. Sanitation Certification

  • I am a licensed professional who adheres to all state board health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

  • Continued education and certification updates are maintained to ensure compliance with the latest industry standards.

5. Tools & Product Safety

  • All tools are disinfected and sterilized after each use, including scissors, combs, brushes, and color bowls.

  • Single-use items (such as gloves, wax sticks, and applicators) are disposed of properly after each client.

  • Professional products are selected with care, prioritizing high-quality, reputable brands that meet safety and performance standards.

6. Emergency Preparedness

  • The salon is equipped with a first aid kit.

  • In the event of an emergency, appropriate procedures will be followed to ensure client safety and prompt assistance.

7. Personal Safety & Conduct

  • Clients are expected to behave respectfully and follow salon policies during appointments.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the appointment and future services.

  • Vivid Artistry reserves the right to refuse service if client behavior or health poses a risk to safety.

8. COVID-19 and Communicable Disease Practices

  • Enhanced cleaning and air circulation measures are maintained as part of ongoing hygiene practices.

  • Masks or additional precautions may be requested if local health guidelines change or if a client requests them for comfort.
